What is Little Ocean?
Little Ocean: Focus Timer brings focus sessions, daily planning and an original living ocean together. Complete sessions to earn virtual shells, then use them to welcome marine companions to your reef.
When can I download it?
Our App Store release is in progress. The download link will appear here once Apple makes the app available. Little Ocean is made for iPhone.
Will it work on Android or in a browser?
iPhone comes first. Android is planned for later. This website introduces the app; a full browser version is not currently planned.
Does Little Ocean block other apps?
Not in the current build. Native distraction controls and scheduled focus windows are in development. For now, you can use your iPhone’s Focus settings alongside Little Ocean.
Can I focus with friends?
Online group sessions are planned, but not available in the current build. Our direction is cooperative progress, without losing everyone’s earned companions if one person needs to stop.

What happens if I end a session early?
Your previously earned creatures stay safe. Completing a focus session earns shells; ending one early lets you start again later without removing your collection.
What are shells?
Shells are a virtual reward for completed focus sessions. Use them to welcome creatures to your ocean. They aren’t money, donations or a measure of real-world conservation.
Where is my progress saved?
In the current guest build, your sessions, tasks, notes, settings and creatures are saved on your device. Optional accounts and cloud backup are still in development. Export a local backup before deleting the app or changing devices.
Can I make the ocean less animated?
Yes. The current build includes reduced-motion and quieter-animation options, plus sound controls. You can choose the atmosphere that works for you.
Is Little Ocean a treatment for ADHD?
No. Little Ocean is a productivity tool, not a medical treatment. It offers structure, visible progress and small starting points without making clinical claims.
Free & Plus
Will Little Ocean be free?
Core focus sessions, simple daily tasks, basic history and an earnable reef are planned to be free. Optional Plus features are in development. See the planned tiers.
How much will Plus cost?
The planned US prices are $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year. These are not live offers. Final local pricing and the included benefits will appear before any purchase.
Will future habitats and soundscapes cost extra?
An active Plus membership includes future soundscapes and habitats added to the Plus catalog, without separate content purchases. We do not promise a release schedule or a particular future catalog size.
Can I buy a membership now?
No. Subscription checkout is not open. We’re finishing the benefits and purchase experience before offering Plus.
Will I lose my creatures if I cancel Plus?
Our membership direction preserves previously earned creatures. Plus expands the experience; it won’t turn your existing collection into something you have to keep paying to protect.
Our ocean promise
Does focusing fund real ocean conservation?
Not yet. We intend to support ocean conservation through a reserve from future paid Plus subscription payments. Partner arrangements and fulfillment are still being developed. Virtual progress is not proof of real-world impact.
How will you show the impact?
Before reporting impact, we plan to publish the partner, contribution policy, dated payments and supporting evidence. No cleanup quantity, coral planting or donation total is claimed at this stage.
